November 2017 Claim #300984**** Fender Bender Police report taken * money was direct deposited in checking account. Had a mechanic friend pull the dent out and paid him for repair.

January 2018 hit and run Claim #301023**** filed * front end was knocked off of vehicle side panel damaged also frame to vehicle damaged.

Was told to take car to Sanderson Ford who estimate cosmetics of vehicle only ... claim adjuster told me to return money from first claim or car will not be fixed. He informed me that he put the check for $686 in the vehicle while at the repair shop. and if I wanted it fixed to give it to the repair person but the total damage would not be fixed unless I gave back the money from the first claim along with $500 for both deductibles ($2000).

Then we took vehicle to a collision repair shop where they determined there was internal damage in which the estimate was $4K. Spoke to my new agent and she informed me that it is possible the damages to the vehicle the second time may have been caused by the first incident. She told me that the claims adjuster informed her that "some people just want to get paid". She was given pictures of both incidents.

Meanwhile we are driving a vehicle with the front end being held together by a hanger and tape. I have explained to her that we DO NOT want money.. just for the vehicle to be repaired. We have been with Farmers for over 12 years and 3 agents and this is the first time there has ever been an issue as this.

I contacted Farmer's corporate office and was told pretty much that it was up to my agent. WOW! We are still driving this vehicle and it's getting worse due to the damages. Flash forward; As of two weeks ago (now July), my daughter was picking up my grand-kids in the car when the ty-rod bent and the rack and pinion broke.

The good thing is that they were just 2 houses down from her home and thank God they weren't on the freeway. I feel if it had been taken care of prior this would not have happened. Needless to say the car is not able to be driven and I will probably have to pay out of pocket for repairs. Very unhappy with being talked to by adjuster as if I were scum, being told I was ranting by "my new agent" and to this day ...

still nothing. After 12+ years and this only being our 3rd claim you would think it would matter. Where does all of the money go that I paid over the years?

Not to mention we have several policies with Farmers. Very disappointed.
