Farmers Insurance Group - Greviancelbad service
Dear Mr Bill Walsh,
Please see the review I posted online (below) when I first joined Farmers- Lucy’s Agency about 2 years ago.(address 6512 El Cajon Blvd ,San Diego, CA 92115.)
Unfortunately, Lucy sold the business to Tiffany Seigart. Since then, family and I have experienced very bad service, which has been a complicated ordeal.
My New agent Tiffany (whom I didn’t select) has been trying to raise our car policy in different ways, so she can get more commission.
I tried to reduce our premium by giving her my college degree, but she did not accept it. I have constantly been in Tiffany’s office to inquire why she kept on changing our policy and forcing us to accept it. You can trace the policy changes of our premium online, since Tiffany took over.
Tiffany was not professional in how she addressed the issue. Instead of informing on us on California law and policy, she assumed we had the same knowledge she did. For example, she continuously asked for our estimated car mileage. I recently moved to California, and in my previous car policies, I have NEVER had to estimate the mileage in order to keep our premium low. Tiffany did not tell us the consequences of not providing an estimated mileage.
I took the policy Tiffany had given me to another Farmer’s agent, and he said that she did not design our policy and protection well. He said that for the price she was charging, he could give us a better, more inclusive coverage and policy.
Finally, I cancelled my policy on time (before the payment for March). However, they sent me an unjustified bill for $106.20. Everyone I have spoken to over the phone has tried to justify this payment in different ways. I refuse to make this payment because I have been a victim of the bad service of this particular agent. Had she properly and professional advised me, from the very beginning, I am sure this payment wouldn’t have been issued.
Before Tiffany took over, I had been a loyal and satisfied customer who was proud to be served by Farmer’s. However, Tiffany’s lack of professionalism has left a bitter taste in my mouth. The service and the way I have been treated by this Farmer’s representative has been appalling. I would appreciate the payment of $106.20 be waived. I have decided to give you my feedback, in hopes of you resolving this issue, otherwise I will be forced to report this to the Better Business Bureau, my lawyers, share my experiences on social media, and write reviews about this predicament online.
